Klásek stopped producing flash firecrackers with pyro composition over 5g. What affect will this have on the PYRO market? The Dumbum 30, Dumbum 50, Dumbum 170 and Viper 12 firecrackers will no longer be available! And it’s going to get worse.
Do you know who Klásek is? They are one of the largest firework suppliers in Europe. You won’t find any of these products mentioned on their website anymore! At the same time, they called on other companies in the industry to stop selling flash firecrackers with a composition above 5g.
Di Blasio basically stopped communicating. Who is Di Blasio?
The Italian manufacturer of Cobra 1, 3, 5, 6, 7 and 8 firecrackers. The new management is totally failing and the quality product quality is rapidly decreasing. Are they also going to stop production? Only time will tell.
Then we have another player. ARPI Ltd. Who is ARPI?
They are an Albanian manufacturer that produces virtually all 2G, 5G, 8G, etc. firecrackers. It doesn’t matter if the firecracker is called Dumbum 5G, Big Bang 5G, Mad Bull Dog 5G, Dumbum 2G, Mamba 2, Puma 2, Powerful Bull Dog, Bufalo Pirata, VESPA, etc. It’s all done by a Balkan factory and they simply rebrand the casing. Joker, RETORNO 100, Black Widow, Dumbum 30, 50, 170… are all from ARPI.
It doesn’t matter if Klásek decided to stop production due to the increasing pressure from the authorities to change the legislation. An amendment to the Pyrotechnics Act is coming into effectiveness, which should shift the sale of F4 pyrotechnics completely elsewhere and these firecrackers will become practically unsellable in the Czech Republic. Or because the company sees what is being done with its products.
Personally I cannot remember when firecrackers have been used as fireworks, and what happened at the turn of the year in Germany had nothing to do with the New Year celebrations. Firing pyrotechnics at the police, paramedics and firefighters is absolutely disgusting!
I think that Klásek’s decision is primarily the decision of an experienced trader who has been in the pyrotechnics market for decades and senses the impending change. It made the decision as such and I accept its decision and I think others will follow its lead.
Pyro isn’t a crime – just people being morons.
